Full Sturgeon Moon

Full Sturgeon Moon

By Tara Sutphen

The Full Buck Moon (Native American) at 25* Aquarius will culminate August 18, 2016 2:29AM PdT/5:29AM EdT (Farmers Almanac).

Moon distance to earth:

The current phase of the moon is a Waxing Gibbous (98.6% illuminated), 13.6 days old and at a distance of 382580 Km (237724 Miles).

This Full Moon in Aquarius is all about making new plans for your future, especially regarding relationships. I’m sure you have friendships and love relationships needing revision. Take the time to look at what needs to be changed. Many problems begin when communication gets jumbled or garbled. Speak up, be sympathetic and be willing to understand. Have you been guilty of all of sudden someone you thought heard you is no longer listening or you no longer hear them? It’s good to have a nice conversation and clear the air.

Aquarius sensibility is always about finding a solution or a mending tool, intellectualizing instead of falling headlong into emotional drama. We all have those regretful moments when something was said and for some reason the rapport you once had can’t be mended. Truly if someone can’t forgive you, then they were never your friend or sweetheart, it’s a shamanic sign to turn away from these kinds of situations. You are here on earth to fulfill your journey, and the people in your circle should offer joy and not sorrow. It’s okay to be a friend, but it’s not tolerable to be a life-raft in a roiling sea.

Situations happen where people hurt your feelings, or there are those who try to control you, usually they have an innate fear of life. It can be a painful process letting go of people who once meant a lot to you. And sometimes you can reach out, nothing has to be lost between you if both parties are in agreement to fix necessary issues. People aren’t mind-readers. But don’t over explain, you don’t have to.

Recognize who you love, and who are your real friends? Choose easily the people who care, lovely gestures, gaiety and laughter. And if you’re fine with most people, concentrate on your goals, exercise, learn new things and seek happiness. Life is about forging ahead, after all the planet is moving at approximately 67,000 mph. Gravity plays a role in keeping us on the earth but we don’t have to wear lead boots while trying to get where we want to go. We want our lives to mean something in this vast universe.

Earth orbits the Sun at an average speed of 67,000 mph, or 18.5 miles a second. Perhaps that seems a bit sluggish — after all, Mars Pathfinder journeyed to Mars at nearly 75,000 miles per hour. We are progressing toward Vega a bright star in Lyra. The motion that’s left must be the particular motion of our Galaxy through the universe! And how fast is the Milky Way Galaxy moving? The speed turns out to be an astounding 1.3 million miles per hour (2.1 million km/hr)!

Make it your motto: No Fear. And make concerted effort to not be afraid of change. Remember to go in the same direction with those you care about. Life is too short to play by others rules or games. Be a clear thinking human, you want real love and true love, you want to create a career. You want to gain money or trade goods for your time and energy. Your health is to be supreme, which means to feed, water and bathe your vessel. You are a temple and must treat yourself as such. There are guidelines to the planet and if you aren’t procreating wonderful souls, you must give in some way. Whether it be through expertise or kindness, it is a natural cycle where you can come into your center of being. The movement of giving and receiving with good intention will bring you into amazing soul goals. Come back into balance, make the right decisions for you, for your beloved family and friends. Your future is in your hands.

. If you’ve been feeling like a good change or studying a new subject, this is the time to forge ahead. You create your own reality. If you’ve been feeling like you’re stuck, can’t get ahead, the routine is too stale. Always communicate, saying your truth gently. Our reality is created by moving in a straight forward direction.

~~ “To be prosperous is not to be superior, and should form no barrier between men. Wealth ought not to secure the prosperous the slightest consideration. The only distinctions which should be recognized are those of the soul, of strong principle, of incorruptible integrity, of usefulness, of cultivated intellect, of fidelity in seeking the truth. ~William Ellery Channing (American Unitarian Clergyman and Author 1780-1842)
